... it was a sad day for the otaku when he learnt that the japanese could make movies that were just as bad as the western ones.

    several that seemed somewhat below my high expectations ... but it's more of an anecdote, really. at any rate, i'd definitely recommend the ´machine girl´; especially its 20 minute spin off is a real gem.
